About This Spot
Stepping into Hong Kong Express is like walking into a familiar, bustling nook where the pace is lively yet comfortable. This spot thrives on its straightforward spirit: here, food arrives fast, plates come generously filled, and the atmosphere feels like a shared secret among those who appreciate hearty, no-fuss meals. The welcoming hum of activity, both from the kitchen and the steady rhythm of guests dropping in for a quick bite or a family gathering, creates a spirited but unhurried vibe that’s hard to resist.
The menu offers a comforting snapshot of Asian-American favorites, where vibrantly sauced chicken dishes share space with classics like BBQ pork and chow mein, each portion crafted to satisfy a genuine appetite. There’s a casual joy in the way meals come together — be it a single order rich with bold flavors or a family feast that fosters connection around a shared table. It’s not about culinary flair but the kind of dependable, flavorful food that invites you to savor without rushing.
Beyond the food, there’s a quiet warmth in the people who work here, welcoming guests with easy smiles and speedy service that feels like a neighborly gesture. Customers often linger just long enough to enjoy their meal, yet many find themselves returning — drawn by the generous portions, approachable prices, and that unmistakable sense of having found a local spot where comfort meets convenience.

Got food here on Thursday and l like to wait a bit before I review to let the experience marinate. The area around the restaurant is not the best that’s fine. This place is honestly just another great Asian American Chinese restaurant. Service is fast and the Food smells great. I can say since the portions are large it’s no wonder it was become a local hot spot. Therefore if you are going for lunch then expect a bit of a light outside the door. How oso no be discouraged the wait time for me was no longer then 10 min and that was with me even being outside in line. The food was pretty good. Everything cooked thoroughly. The variety of flavors actually surprised me. Even had enough food in my one plate to feed 3 people so best price per food ratio.

Obviously this place is hyped by Social Media, however, it’s worth the visit. Partner and I visited and were happy with the price and portion sizes, which are huge!! Highly recommend visiting this place. We had so much leftover. I would recommend purchasing for lunch and dinner because there is so much food.

The hype is real. They serve you a ALOT OF FOOD. A lot of ppl say the food is like whatever but NO. It’s good. The bbq is nice and moist and thick. None of that dried out crusty stuff u get at other restaurants. The noodles were delicious. Very limited seating but wait it out.

4.5 stars out of 5! Almost at 5 , but not there yet. Yes, they are beyond generous with their portion. One plate can feed a whole family. Price is average for what you get. I think I paid $17+/- for my 2 items plate. Food is good!! Their BBQ is tender and not dry like other places. I was very impressed by their Orange Chicken!! Very crunchy!!! LOVED IT!! I don't recommend dinning-in because is a small stablishment with only a handful of tables. Better to do take-out. I appreciate their customer service!! I was greeted very nicely and they were very nice. You definitely must visit this place!

Randomly found this place because I was craving orange chicken. Their orange chicken is no joke!! Huge chunks of chicken, nice and crispy, and a great orange flavor. Definitely my new favorite place when I come back.
